Mount Bromo, Indonesia
In a province in Indonesia by the name of East Java there lays a massif called Tengger massif. A part of that massif is Mount Bromo, which happens to be an active volcano. This basically means that on top of the surrounding surprisingly green lush valleys, the volcano is surrounded by fine volcanic sand and constantly emits white sulphurous smoke. The combination of the two presents a beautiful, post card worthy picture.
Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica
Arsenal Volcano is about 1657 m above sea level and is relatively young according to geological standards. It last erupted in 1968, but still has a tendency to spit ash and lava on occasions, if you’re into that sort of thing. The volcano is surrounded by some pretty impressive aesthetic features of Mother Nature and tours to the place usually contain various activities, marking it as one of the stunning volcanoes that deserve a visit.

If you don’t want the constant threat of death accompanying a pleasant excursion up a picturesque mountain, leave this one for the adrenalin junkies. Mayon Volcano has a penchant for erupting and spitting ash and rock into the air, and it does so frequently. The weather however is mild all year round, and the surrounding landscape truly is a sight to behold. Considering the Volcanic Mountain considering its height is about 2463 m, you can enjoy the sight of it from afar as well while frolicking through the fields that surround it.

One of the stunning volcanoes that deserve a visit, the highest and the most iconic mountain of Japan sits at a height of 3776 m. The symmetrical figure is classified as active but has a low risk of erupting anytime soon. The mountain is a popular symbol in Japan, has been featured in many art pieces as well as photographs and is frequently visited by foreigners, and the popularity is well earned. The view of Mount Fuji is exceptionally beautiful, especially during the months when the summit is covered in snow.
